Electronic Billing (E-Billing)

E-billing improves efficiency by streamlining the invoice-to-pay process reducing errors and providing a system of record to resolve issues. It allows you to receive your bills quickly, easily and securely online in Amicus Cloud. With e-billing you can access your billing and payment information anytime, anywhere.

E-bills are a digital version of the physical bill, presented in PDF format that contain all pertinent information that relates to the payment, such as date, amount, due date, payment terms, and a link where users can view and pay the bill.

LEDES 98B format

LEDES 98B is currently the most-widely used e-billing standard in the legal industry in the US and is supported in Amicus Cloud.

Easy to get started

To get started creating E-bills in LEDES 98B format for your clients, indicate the code set from the Task Code drop down list on the file and you are ready to create your e-bills.

Automated time and expenses entries

Time and expense entries automatically include UTBMS task and activity codes to simplify data entry and allow you to generate your bills quicker.

E-Billing is expedited

Finalized E-bills can be emailed at the time of billing and are automatically saved to the File as a text file under the Documents tab.

You can open, email or download the bill under the Documents tab to quickly submit it to your client's third party bill company.
